UFOs have long been sighted around natural disasters. Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Volcanic Eruptions and Earthquakes have all exposed UFO activity. The month of November had seen steady seismic activity in Galicia, Spain, in 1995. The townsfolk of that area had been reporting UFO activity steadily for weeks. On November 28th a group of soccer players at a local park watched as several UFOs slowly and silently crossed the sky. At the same time, the Gandaras military base captured several UFOs on their security cameras. It soon became clear that neither of these was an isolated incident and that they were currently in a wave of UFO activity. At that time people did not understand the correlation between UFOs and what humans consider to be natural disasters. In the following months UFO sightings would increase in northern Spain including objects that were oval, saucer-shaped, double saucer-shaped and triangular including one described as an “upside down steam iron.” At one point local cameramen filmed two jets attempting to chase an extremely slow moving triangle. More witnesses watched as a massive oval UFO hovered over the ENDESA power plant for more than an hour. The sightings continued into February when Andres Landiera was driving his car toward Lugo when he realized his car was lifting off the ground. In a panic the unsuspecting driver attempted to jump from the suspended vehicle before realizing he was more than 10 metres in the air. He scrambled back into the driver seat and prepared, as best he could, to die. To his surprise the car was returned to the highway gently but sideways. Sightings continued in the area which often included beings around landed craft.
